To date, our database of observations of birds with colour rings or markers contains 222558 records of 116 different species. The first sighting corresponds to an Audouin’s gull (FBA - 6035109) ringed in the Columbrets Islands on 3 June 1988.

To follow the life history of a bird, first enter an observation of the bird. The system currently only allows you to visualize the life histories of birds you have reported.

How to record your sightings of colour-ringed birds

  1. Enter your observations by clicking on the My sightings tab
  2. View and export the bird’s life history by clicking on the icons of the rings or markers in the list in your sightings
